It’s both Easter and Passover this weekend. Is your family observing one of these holidays? We’re doing a lot with our extended family this weekend, but I’m hoping to sneak off to at least one of the events listed below.

Weekend Round-Up: Things to do with the Family around Raleigh: March 30-April 1
March 30-April 1 from 10:00am-2:00pm
Enjoy running through the JC Arboretum gardens on a self-guided egg hunt. Find the hidden painted eggs, unscramble the letters, and win a small prize. No baskets or reservations required.
March 31 from 10:00am – 6:00pm
Bundle up and get out on the lake! The Bond Park Boathouse concession stand and rentals will be open for the first day of the 2018 season.
March 31 and April 1 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Celebrate spring at Spring Haven Farm with goats, baby pigs, and other adorable animals. Listen to live music while your kids join an Easter egg hunt, get their face painted and take a ride on the Tractor Train Express. Tickets are $12.50 each. Kids 3 and under are free.
March 30-April 1 from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Unearth colorful eggs, take a photo with the dinosaurs, and dig up some real fossils for your kids’ collections. The Museum’s Dinosaur Trail will be full of fun activities and prehistoric dinosaur adventures. Tickets are $7 per egg hunter and pre-registration is required.
