No Child Wet Behind Diaper Drive and Charity Event

Doulas of Raleigh will be hosting the 1st Annual No Child Wet Behind Diaper Drive and Charity Event on May 5, 2018. We are raising diapers and funds to benefit Saint Saviour’s Center’s The Diaper Train and the Diaper Bank of North Carolina. 1 in 3 families in this country struggle to afford enough clean diapers each month for their children. Our No Child Wet Behind Event seeks to make a difference when it comes to diaper need in our community. Please join us at Lonerider Brewing Company on event day as we set out to build a world record-breaking diaper cake. There will also be bounce houses, face painters, child-friendly activities, boutique shopping, and more. The cost of admission is $10 plus a diaper donation of any size.

Conservator’s Center Pumpkin Prowl

Pumpkin Prowl 2017
Grab a coat and a friend, and join us on Saturday, November 11th for our annual Pumpkin Prowl, the most unique way to celebrate autumn in North Carolina!
Join us in selecting, decorating, and carving the pumpkins, while enjoying food and drinks from local vendors.  Then we decorate our animals’ enclosures with stuffed, scented, or painted pumpkins to celebrate the season. Our animals love finding these new fascinating items in their habitats, and we enjoy watching as they investigate their gifts.
Enjoy food and drink from our favorite vendors, and join us in selecting, decorating, and carving the pumpkins; then watch as our keepers decorate our animals’ enclosures and introduce our animals to an autumn wonderland.
At Pumpkin Prowl, you’ll also have the option of learning interesting tidbits about how we care for our animal residents from the trained handlers and keepers at the Conservators Center!
