Waverly Place Holiday Tree Lighting

Santa and Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht hope you’ll join them in counting down the lighting of the beautiful tree on the Waverly Place promenade at 6:55pm Friday, Nov. 17. Afterwards, Santa will stay and visit with the children. Parents and family are welcome to bring a camera and take photos of this special occasion!
Before Santa arrives, DJ Gary Gibson will spin holiday tunes and at 6:30pm, Cary’s own Craig Woolard of the Embers and his family will perform Christmas favorites. There will also be a performance by the critically acclaimed Elevate NC dance team.

Come early and indulge in festive treats and beverages offered by Waverly businesses and vendors, and craft the first ornament of the season at Color Me Mine! You will also enjoy a variety of one-day-only, in-store sales and events.

Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Johnson Subaru Fill-the-Trunk Toy Drive to help Triangle-area families via Toys for Tots. Better yet, pick something up at Shower Me With Love to make a child’s holiday season special.

For a schedule of activities, visit the Waverly Place website.
