Holiday Family Fun Friday

December 15th.  5:30 p.m.  NC Museum of Art, Raleigh

Playful artmaking, free treats for the kids, Santa visits and more all in a winter wonderland at the Museum of Art.  Register and purchase tickets here

Santa Stumble VIII

December 16th.  10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Thomas Brooks Parks, Field #2, Cary

Join a Santa team and play some ‘reindeer games’ all for a great cause! For kids ages 5 -12 years enjoy soccer with Santa, Jingle Bell relays, the Frozen Tundra and much more.  Make a suggested donation of $25 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina

Santa at North Hills

December 16th.  1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Midtown at North Hills, Raleigh

Santa is stopping by Midtown at the Shepherd’s Way Christmas Tree Lot. Bring your cameras! 

Apex Chanukah Celebration: Chanuka Playland and Menorah Lighting Fire Show

December 17th.  3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.   Apex Community Center, Downtown Apex

Celebrate the festival of lights with a free event of fun and crafts for the kids. 

Smallcakes Decorating Holiday Workshops and Cupcakes with Santa 

December 19th, 20th & 23rd. Smallcakes Cary & Smallcakes Durham

Make your own holiday designed cupcakes and bring the kiddos for a cupcake and a pic with the big guy! Visit the Smallcakes Cary Event Facebook Pages and Smallcakes Durham Facebook Page to learn more and RSVP to each of these events. 

Winter Fun: Parkside Town Commons Ice Rink

Open until January 7th.  Parkside Town Commons, Cary

Past Chinese Lantern Festival Display at Koka Booth Amphitheatre


N.C. Chinese Lantern Festival

Runs until January 14th.  Koka Booth Amphitheatre, Cary

Bring the family and walk through this annual tradition of over 15,000 LED lights within this ancient art of Chinese Lantern displays.  Lights, artisans, performers, food vendors and more.  Purchase tickets in advance here or at the box office.

Winter Wonder Weeks at Marbles

December 22nd – January 1st.  Marbles Kids Museum, Raleigh

Make some holiday memories Marbles style with Fuzzy Fibers, Twinkle Time, Polar Painting and more.
