Easter Egg Hunt in Zebulon.  April 1st.  10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Zebulon Municipal Complex

FREE event. Bring your baskets and hunt for Eggs. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will take place on Friday, March 31st from 4-6pm at the Community Center with a canned food donation.

EGGstravaganza at the NC Zoo.  April 1st – 2nd.  NC Zoo, Asheboro

Celebrate the season with the wildest egg hunt around.  Watch zoo animals hunt for treats inside decorative eggs and learn why enrichment is so important for animals and learn how you can support this program.

Garner’s Spring EggstravaganzaApril 8th.  10:00 a.m.  Lake Benson Park, Garner

Arrive early for egg hunts, entertainment, games, crafts, food vendors & more. Don’t forget your camera to get your picture with the Easter Bunny. Ages 2 & under hunt at 10:30 a.m., ages 3-5 hunt at 11:00 a.m., ages 6-8 hunt at 11:30 a.m. and age 9-12 hunt at noon.

Apex Easter Egg Hunts.  April 6th, 8th & 9th.  

Three Easter Egg Hunts to enjoy: 

  •  Flashlight Egg Hunt.  (This is a special event for participants with disabilities ages 6+.) April 6th. 7:30 p.m. Apex Nature Park:  Grab your flashlight & search for “glow in the dark” candy filled eggs. Register in advance and arrive early.
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt.  April 8th  at 10 a.m.  Apex Community Center:   Bring your baskets and cameras. Egg hunts will be going on along with pictures with the Easter Bunny!
  • Egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt.  April 9th at 9 a.m.  Apex Community Center:   This is a special event for children with disabilities ages 6 & under. Meet the Easter Bunny, bring your basket and a buddy to help hunt if you need. Volunteers will be on site to assist.

Easter Egg Hunt at Parkside Town Commons.  April 8th.  11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Cary

FREE, fun and festive event for the entire family. Face painting, live music, bounce houses, games & prizes. For kids 10 years and under.

Morrisville Easter Egg Hunt.   April 8th.   Morrisville Community Park

Come out to this annual Easter egg hunt Easter Bunny visits included. Kids will be divided up into 3 age groups. Ages 2-4 hunt at 10:00 a.m. on Field #1, ages 5-6 hunt at 10:30 a.m. on Field #1 and ages 7-8 hunt at 11:00 a.m. on Field #1.

Town of Cary Easter Events.  April 8th. 

Town of Cary has lined up Easter fun for all ages with 3 exciting events:

  • Breakfast with The Bunny.  April 8th.   8:30-9:30 a.m.   Cary Senior Center:   Register in advance for a continental breakfast with The Bunny by the Cary Teen Council.
  • 26th  Annual Easter Egg Hunt. 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Cary:  Children ages 10 and under can participate in this annual Easter Egg Hunt. In addition enjoy face painting, refreshments, bounce houses, meet first responders & the Easter Bunny, and enjoy a magic show!

Paws in the Park Easter Egg Hunt.  April 8th.  9:30 a.m. Ashley Wilder Dog Park, Knightdale

FREE event, no registration required.   The first 125 dogs will receive a Frisbee & Goody Bag. Every Egg will be filled with treats and those who find the “Golden Eggs” will receive prizes! The Easter Bunny will be available for photo opportunities. For this event, dogs must be on a leash, non-aggressive & have up to date rabies tag or certificate.

Wake Forest Easter Egg Hunt.    April 8th.  Joyner Park, Wake Forest

Easter egg hunts, arts & crafts, food vendors and special prizes hidden in unmarked eggs are making this year’s egg hunt, even more, fun. Ages 3 & under hunt at 10:00 a.m., ages 4-6 hunt at 10:20 a.m., ages 7-9 hunt at 10:40 a.m. and ages 10-12 hunt at 11:00 a.m.  

Spring Fling & Community Yard Sale.  April 8th.   8:00 a.m. – Noon.  Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park, Holly Springs.

FREE event. Games, inflatables, music, and an Egg Hunt at noon. During the event shop at the community yard sale.

Fuquay-Varina Easter Egg Hunt.  April 8th.  10:00 a.m. South Park, Fuquay-Varina

Grab your baskets and come out to this FREE Easter Egg hunt event for ages 10 and under. The Easter Bunny will be out ready to post with kids.

Easter Eggstraordinaire.  April 8th.  10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Knightdale Station Park, Knightdale

Three Easter Egg Hunts for ages 0-3, 4-5 & 6-8 will start at 11:00 a.m… In addition enjoy Easter Bunny photos, train rides, activities and free snacks. There will be a hunt area for children with special needs starting at 11:00 a.m. with special activities and more.





Town Easter Egg Hunt in Fuquay Varina.  April 8th. 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.   South Park, Fuquay-Varina

More than 12,000 plastic Easter eggs will be out and ready for this annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your camera and capture those moments with the Easter Bunny, too!

Healthy Easter Egg Hunt & Eco Egg Hunt.  April 8th.  11:00 a.m. Local Community Centers in Raleigh

Kids and parents can enjoy healthier snack options and prizes rather than candy. In addition, a portion of the eggs will be “ego eggs” – plant versus petroleum-based eggs, BPA-free, 100% renewable content, and fully compostable. Each center will provide FREE activities for kids 10 and under. No pre-registration required.

6th Annual Spring Egg Hunt.   April 10th – 16th.   JC Raulston Arboretum, Raleigh

 FREE event for all ages. This isn’t your typical egg hunt. This is a self-guided, fun family activity for all ages. Pick up an answer sheet and find the brightly painted wooden eggs hidden in the Arboretum garden to unscramble the hidden letters and discover the secret word to win a small prize. No baskets or registration required. Visit their website to view days and times of the event.


Egg Hunt Challenge for Teens.  April 13th.  Pullen Park, Raleigh

Pullen Park has taken the classic childhood egg hunt & amped it up. Bring a friend a flashlight and hunt for eggs.  Pre-registration is required by April 10th.

Dino Egg Hunt.   April 14th – 16th.    Museum of Life & Sciences, Durham

Unearth colorful eggs, take a photo with their resident dino, and dig up some real fossils for your personal collections. Find activities & adventure on the Museum’s Dinosaur Trail. Cost: $7 to participate in the Dino Egg Hunt activities. Recommended for ages 6 years and older. Pre-registration required.

Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast with the Bunny.   April 14th.  10:30 a.m. Clayton Community Park, Clayton

The Easter Bunny will arrive on a Clayton Fire Engine ready to meet and take pictures with the entire family.  Preschoolers (ages 5 & under) can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt, pancakes with the Bunny, crafts and a story time. Breakfast with the Bunny will take place at the Clayton Community Center.

One World Athletics 5th Annual Egg Hunt with NCFC.  April 15th.  5:30 p.m. WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary 

This soccer themed Easter Egg hunt and soccer tennis event hosted by One World Athletics and NCFC is bringing out all the soccer fun! Register in advance.
