Five Baby Safe Bubble Baths

Remember when taking a bath meant relaxation? It meant candles and relaxing music, maybe even a good book. It meant bath oils, salts, and of course, intoxicating scented bubble bath. Anything to decompress from the day and enjoy some much needed alone time.

Well… We have kids now!

Those once calming baths are far and few between. Bath time now includes splashing, rubber duckies, giggles, and the cutest little baby tushes. The one thing that hasn’t changed, the need for bubbles; which everyone knows, makes any bath even better! However, instead of the strongest scent or the one that promises to make our skin the softest, we opt for the one promised to be the safest on the skin, with the fewest ingredients.

Not sure where to find the right bubble bath for your littles?

Look no further; I read countless reviews, combed through 3rd party consumer websites, and even tested a few on my son!

Here are 5 bubble baths you, and your little one, will surely love:

1. Babyganics, Bubble Bath, Fragrance-Free

This top choice is my family’s personal favorite because it is gentle on sensitive skin and is reasonably priced. This product is made with plant-derived and certified organic ingredients, non-allergenic, tear free, and not tested on animals. It’s free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, and artificial fragrances or dyes. Plus, it actually makes a decent amount of bubbles for such a gentle formula.

A 20 oz bottle costs about $20.

2. California Baby, Calendula Bubble Bath

This bubble bath seems to be one of the fan favorites among my mom friends. This soap is tear, sulfate, and cruelty-free; and is safe for those with gluten, oat, soy, dairy, and nut allergies. The limited, plant-based ingredients are gentle on sensitive and eczema skin; plus the awesome essential oils make it smell wonderful. If all of that wasn’t good enough, it comes with a bubble wand for added fun!

A 13 oz bottle costs about $14.

3. Carina Organics, Baby Bubble Bath

Before my [extensive] bubble bath research, I hadn’t heard of this company… I was missing out. If you are looking for a product that truly cares about nature and their impact on the world, this is it. Their bubble bath is biodegradable, dye and synthetic chemical free, and safe in rivers, lakes, and oceans. The ingredients used are 100% natural and certified organic; plus they work to impact nature as little as possible during the harvesting process.

An 8oz bottle costs about $10.

4. Babo Botanicals, Moisturizing Baby Bubble Bath & Wash

The pure and simple ingredients of this bubble bath and wash are cruelty-free and vegan, as well as hypoallergenic, and sulfate and tear free. This product contains oatmilk and organic calendula and is rich in antioxidants and vitamins which not only leave your little one’s skin feeling soft, but it is also proven to help relieve eczema and soothe dry skin. An excellent choice for babies that need a little extra comforting when the dry season hits.

A 15 oz bottle costs about $16.

5. ThinkBaby, Bubble Bath

This product comes from a company I have seen before, but didn’t know very much about. After digging into their website and some added research, I am now considering switching all of my little guy’s toiletries. This bubble bath is simple, not tested on animals, and is free from parabens, phthalates, sodium sulfate, and other harmful chemicals. This company works to limit their impact on the environment starting at the creation of the product, all the way to the disposal of it. Plus they have won a bunch of awards since their conception in 2006.

A 16 oz bottle costs about $10.
