Rush Hour Karting Academy - Raleigh Moms BlogStart your engines and move over grown-ups. Just in time for summer, kids are taking over the tracks at Rush Hour Karting – a state-of-the-art indoor go-kart racing track in the Triangle right here in the Triangle.

Here at RMB, we’ve enjoyed family outings and birthday parties zooming around the indoor track at Rush Hour! We were excited to hear that they are now offering a summer camp experience for those young racing enthusiasts. Kids can get out of the hot NC summer heat and spend time learning good sportsmanship and developing their driving and racing skills on the Junior Karts at Rush Hour Karting Academy.  If you have a young racing fan at home or a kiddo who is looking for something new then the Karting Academy is just the right speed.

Rush Hour Karting Academy - Summer CampThis is not your typical summer camp  – Rush Hour’s mission is to teach your mini-driver all about the joys and etiquette of racing (in and off the track), the importance of good sportsmanship,  rules of the road, and team building. The camp also includes off-site excursions, in-house meals, snacks, and lots of other summer fun!

Then, before riding, they get suited up with a Headsock, Helmet, and a Neckbrace.  And as for the karts themselves, they are equipped with the latest in karting safety and technology, including 4 point seat belts, wrap around bumpers, and even brake lights. And last, there will always be Track Staff on the track monitoring the action, and controlling everything.
