Spring is in the air! This makes me want to switch up everything from wardrobe to my home decor. Each season my little and I love to decorate and we always do something fun on the mantle. Each holiday typically gets a banner of some sort and almost always they are handmade by us. It is something we enjoy and I do believe we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Of course, my long-term overly emotional thinking made me go all the way to when she leaves the nest and I’m home decorating before her arrival from college or with a family of her own. For now, we’re making memories that include messy moments and super cute decorations!
Inexpensive Spring Craft Idea – Carrot & Bunny Banner

Purchase pre-made pennants at a local craft store for $7.99 with 40% off coupon, they look like this:
Purchase some type of all-purpose paint. I got these at my local craft store for .99 cents each and already had the white one on hand:
I had the paint brushes on hand and now we let the fun begin. Free-hand the bunny, then the carrot and stem. Let them dry for a 1/2 hour and then re-paint them so they’ll be nice and bright.
Use your hot-glue gun to glue the pennant pieces just about a 1/2 inch apart. Hang and enjoy!
