Nutcracker Tea

Join us for a Nutcracker Tea Party at the Mayton Inn in downtown Cary!

The performance is the perfect introduction to the Nutcracker for little ones and a great kick off to your holiday season for young and old! The beautiful Mayton Inn will set the stage for you to enjoy narrated excerpts from the Nutcracker, including a few interactive moments for our youngest audience members. Cookies, cocoa, tea and lemonade will be served.

Paint the Page

The Friends of the Page-Walker invite teens ages 13 to 18 to participate in the 3rd Annual Paint the Page that will take place Sunday, October 1, from 1 to 5 pm at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center in Cary. Teens will capture Cary’s historic railroad hotel on canvas or paper using the medium of their choice. Interested artists should register at

A reception will be held Sunday, October 8, from 4 to 5 pm celebrating the works of all of the participating artists. The best-in-show entry will receive a $100 cash prize and will be displayed at the Page-Walker through the end of 2017. Five $50 judges’ choice cash awards will also be awarded. Family, friends and the general public are invited to attend and celebrate the artists, and enjoy music from the Enloe High School Music Outreach Club.

Paint the Page supports young artists and gives them the opportunity to learn about Cary’s history. It also enriches the community with artwork inspired by the beautiful, historic Page-Walker Hotel that now serves as our public arts and history center.

RLT Education Open House!

Ever wondered what youth classes are all about at Raleigh Little Theatre? Come experience it first-hand at our Youth Classes Open House on Sunday, Sept. 24th 1:00-4:00 PM for FREE!

Drop in at the top of every half hour to sample our classes for ages 4-18 year olds, meet some of our teaching artists and education staff and have fun! Check in at the Sutton Theatre lobby and we’ll break into groups by age to connect you with the class that’s right for you. You can also enter a drawing for a family four-pack to “Grace for President,” October 13-22 at the NC Museum of History.

With story drama and imagination games for younger actors, an acting basics class for ages 8-13 and an up-close look at our artist development classes for teens, we know you’ll find something that gets your creativity flowing here at Raleigh Little Theatre.
