10 Costco Must Haves For Moms

{Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Costco but all opinions are our own. Raleigh Moms Blog carefully selects the partners we work with and we personally use the products and services that Costco offers.}

As a mom to a newborn and a school age child, with two work from home jobs, I have a lot to juggle. So finding ways to make my life easier and to save money while doing it are things that are at the top of my priority list. We joined Costco a year ago and I’m so thankful for the ways that Costco helps to make shopping for my family easier! Costco has competitive pricing on quality brands and their store brand, Kirkland Signature rates higher than national brands on many of their products. My son loves their free samples which makes getting through the store with kids much more pleasant! They have a great selection of organic products with pricing that is amazing! These are just a few of the reasons we love Costco! Check out my list of must haves from Costco and find out how you can save on a Costco membership with our exclusive membership deal!

Costco Must Haves!

Toilet Paper – Okay, so this one isn’t very glamorous and it’s probably exactly what you imagine is on every warehouse club shopping list, but seriously, the Kirkland Signature Bath Tissue is good stuff! This is coming from someone very picky about what toilet paper she buys. For $15 you get 30 rolls. Trust me, it’s a great buy!

Steak Strips – Everyone in our family has their favorites from Costco and the Kirkland Signature Steak Strips are on my husband’s list! He loves beef jerky and he tells me these taste great!

Fresh meat – Costco’s pricing on fresh meat (including organic!) is awesome!

Eggs – We go through a lot of eggs in our family and with holiday baking season coming, I’ll need even more eggs than normal. We love the price on these cage free, vegetarian fed eggs!

Dinner – I have a newborn and a busy 5 year old, so getting a delicious home cooked meal on the table can be tough these days. We also pick up a rotisserie chicken while at Costco for a quick and easy dinner. Add a salad (the Costco salads are delicious by the way) or some steamed veggies and dinner is done! Other favorites from the deli department include the chicken pot pie (it’s huge and perfect for a large family), the ravioli lasagna, and the chicken noodle soup (perfect for freezing).

Organic Apple Sauce Pouches – I have a 5 year old that can suck down 4 apple sauce pouches in one sitting (if I let him!), so being able to buy a giant box is a huge plus for me! I put one in his lunch box each day and we’re both happy!

Bakery items – We love the large cookies from the bakery! But if you need a quick dessert or some pastries, the Costco bakery has delicious fresh baked goodies that are perfect for sharing. One of our favorite Costco Bakery items is the cakes! You can’t beat the price and the taste on these half sheet cakes, perfect for birthday parties or other celebrations.

Tissues – Cold season is coming and my house always seems to have someone with a drippy nose! The Kirkland Signature Facial Tissues are soft and strong and the bulk packaging means I never have to worry about running out.

Diapers and Wipes – If you have a baby or toddler in diapers, you don’t want to miss the deals on diapers and wipes at Costco! They sell Huggies, but the Kirkland Signature line is just as good!

Chocolate – Last, but certainly not least (we all know how important chocolate is!), is the chocolate. I love the chocolate covered raisins. I hide them from my child and they are my special late night snacking treat! Every mom needs hidden chocolate!

And let’s not forget that the holidays are coming! Costco has everything you need from decorations to gifts!
