Jill is a northeast transplant that was swept off her feet by good, old-fashion, southern hospitality and a southern man. Anyone ever heard of Pink Hill, NC? Yeah, he’s a little bit country and she’s a little bit rock ‘n roll. Together, they agree that life is just a little bit sweeter south of the Mason-Dixon, so Raleigh is where they are raising their other love, Harper Jane.
Jill is a full time working mama, splitting time between that, the blog and chasing her wild child…so basically she runs around like a crazy person all day, but always tries to have fun doing it! In love with her work and family, Jill is also passionate about her faith, healthy living, good food, good wine and good interior design. It’s amazing the redecorating ideas that have sparked from a glass of oaky chardonnay!
Floating somewhere in between working part-time and staying at home with her little lady, Jill found herself wondering where the other moms like her were? Raleigh Moms Blog grew out of love for her community and the desire to connect with more moms in the area…and maybe just a little entrepreneurial spirit!

Kim is a JerZ girl through and through, but has called Holly Springs home for almost 4 years. A really long time ago she graduated from American University with a degree in Video Production and Graphic Design. Still a really long time ago she met an equally creative man named Tim and since their names rhymed, the natural next step was marriage. 12 years, 2 boys and 4 houses later, they are settled in a whirlwind life of awesomeness. Two years ago Kim launched, The Fancy Feathers to step out of the four-year stay-at-home mom life and has been working steady with local Marketing clients and the title of Art Director and Designer for two local monthly magazine publications. Somewhere amidst all that, she fell in love with fitness. Madly, deeply and strongly. A Spartan racer, Crossfit-er, weight lifter, Insanity, Zumba and Yoga lover, her mission is to give back to the many people that helped to positively “re-shape” her family’s lives. After pounds and inches lost, but quality of life gained, she is the co-founder of Impossible Couple with Tim, documenting the process of what it means to be fit and excited to now share the journey with a broader audience!

Renée moved to Cary from upstate New York in the late eighties, when much of the town as we know it today, was still farmland. After moving around Raleigh and Cary several times she now lives in North Raleigh.
She graduated from NCSU with a degree in Psychology, and after taking a year to serve in the central region of the U.S., Renée turned to Raleigh to work against school violence. She later attended graduate school in Maryland and was a Montessori teacher in Raleigh for a decade. She currently works part-time as a yoga and meditation teacher for adults and young people. Her main work is parenting two adventurous girls (ages 6 & 11) with her husband of (nearly) fifteen years! She has lived abroad in both Europe and Asia and this global perspective influences her daily life and writing.
When she is not driving her daughters across town in her minivan, she can be found outdoors with her two dogs, on her yoga mat, reading, working in her zen garden, or planning her next travel adventure. Renée is also the owner and blogger of Fresh Off The Mat.
