  • “Laid Back Bunny” and “Sweet Chick” Spoon Pops
    • Melt 6-7 white chocolate bark* coating squares in a double boiler
    • Once melted, tip the melting pot slightly on it’s side to make the chocolate a little deeper for dipping
    • Dip each of the plastic spoons into the chocolate; covering both sides and tapping a bit to remove excess chocolate
    • Lay each chocolate covered spoon quickly onto a baking sheet or tray covered with a sheet of parchment paper
    • Place the tray in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
    • Once the chocolate has hardened, have fun decorating with colored icing

  • Bunny Pancakes
    • Make 2 5-6 inch pancakes per a standard pancake recipe
    • Cut crescent shape ears from the sides of one pancake and use the leftover middle as the bunny’s bowtie or hair-bow
    • Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (or your favorite nut-free spread) on the other whole pancake – for the ‘face’.
    • Place the ear pieces and bowtie piece around the ‘face’ pancake
    • Decorate with white and/or pink icing squeezed from a decorator bag (or plastic sandwich ziplock bag) and garnish with chocolate chips
    • Repeat the steps above fore each of your special bunnies

We love making these simple, but cute, treats year after year! My favorite are the ‘bird nests’ because of their sweet and salty taste! Please share your variation of the above recipes or other favorite Easter treats!

Happy Easter!
