Sprouts Farmers Market, a natural and organic grocery store, is open for business in Raleigh! It’s the very first Sprouts in North Carolina. They join a growing list of more than 250 Sprouts stores across the country.
If you’re planning your visit to experience firsthand what all this buzz is about, read on. We chatted with Sprouts’ Erin Miller this week to learn more about Raleigh’s newest market and we have some super insider tips to save you time and money.
Sprouts’ motto is “Healthy Living for Less”. Sprouts has a wide variety of options for whatever healthy path you and your family subscribe to and they offer those options at great prices. Gluten Free? No problem! Paleo? Check! Organic/Clean eating? Yes, ma’am! Plant-based? You bet!
They have a big selection of “grab and go” meals for busy families including a fresh salad bar and many ‘heat and eat’ items for purchase.
The first thing you’ll probably notice when you enter their bright and beautiful Falls of Neuse store is it’s a bit smaller than other grocery stores in town. You’ll see a different layout, too.
“Produce is the heart of our store and is placed right in the center,” explained Ms. Miller.
What a healthy, colorful and vibrant “heart” they have.
Next, you’ll discover perhaps the best difference of all! Sprouts is dedicated to providing high-quality produce for less. Organic and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables are offered at prices that are genuinely exciting. This week, for instance, they feature $0.88 organic kale, $0.88 per pound each prices on fresh apples, fresh green beans, and asparagus. Jumbo cantaloupes are just $0.88 each.
In addition to their produce, Sprouts offer a meat counter with organic and/or grass-fed meats and poultry. Butchers are on site to cut or season your selections by request. Fresh seafood is delivered six days a week.
Sprouts has an open sampling policy. You can try it before you buy it! Just stop an associate and ask them to open the package for you. They also have 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, return it to the store for a full refund.
